Five special places to stay where memories wait to be made…
Tucked away in a tranquil area of rural Northumberland ‘The Laverock’ is the ideal place to relax and explore the fantastic coast, castles and wildlife. Originally built as a terrace of single-storey labourers' cottages, the properties have been lovingly restored retaining many of their original features and are set in two acres of wooded landscape. Our cottages and shepherd's hut are dog-friendly (excluding the treehouse) with walks from the doorstep.

We were really excited to open the North Star Treehouse in Autumn 2022, because it has been a dream to create such a magical place. The sunset views are stunning and at night you can lie in bed and gaze at the dark skies then awake to amazing birdsong. This is a true place to connect back to nature, rediscover yourself and spend quality time with loved ones. Check out the video on the North Star web page. The North Star is a low carbon destination for your holiday. |
I just returned from an incredible week at Laverock Law Cottages! Our group included 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and 2 children aged 6. It turned out to be the most amazing and inspiring week imaginable. Dave and Harvest are truly wonderful individuals, making us feel like part of their family. Initially, we were concerned the kids wouldn't appreciate the remote location, but they were engaged in various activities like playing with the go-kart and enjoying the extra offerings from Dave and Harvest. My friends and I indulged in a fantastic, relaxing yoga session, while the little ones participated in a felt workshop. We also embarked on a family adventure, guided by Dave, who taught the kids how to read a map and navigate up and down the mountain. Dave and Harvest have created a truly special place, and if you seek relaxation and a connection with nature, look no further – Laverock Law Cottages is the perfect destination!, Marcielly February 2024
