Skylark cottage provides flexible accommodation for up to 5 people offering the perfect place to stay for families, couples or groups of friends. Your holiday begins with a selection of local and homemade produce along with a homemade cake upon arrival. We have thought of everyone, for families and children there is plenty of safe space to play and explore the natural world, as well as a selection of toys and games. Equally, Skylark Cottage is the perfect secluded and tranquil place for a romantic getaway set deep in the heart of the Northumberland countryside with an opportunity to enjoy the North Northumberland's starry nights together. Like all of the accommodation at Laverock law, Skylark cottage has a wealth of eco friendly features, including heating and hot water from our biomass boiler, solar electricity generation, organic cotton bedding and an electric vehicle charge point to use.

Sitting Room Relax and escape in front of a roaring log fire in this warm and welcoming living room. Enjoy afternoon tea after a ramble through the woods and hills of this beautiful countryside in this outstanding location. A natural wood floor treated with environmentally friendly finishes and a light décor are highlighted with colourful textiles. Kitchen/Diner This is a light, sunny room with views across the paddock to the hills and beyond. The two windows provide a place to see a variety of wildlife out of. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs including, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer drier. Enjoy your meals around a traditional farmhouse table. All the cleaning products are eco friendly and there is a compost for your use if you choose to do so. Bedrooms Skylark has three bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 people. Bedroom 1: the master double bedroom has a large traditional sash window which creates a light spacious room with sunny views across the countryside. Magic fairylights above the bed add to the romantic setting. Bedroom 2: a single bedroom with delightful soft furnishings. Bedroom 3: double bedroom, lovely organic bedding All the bedrooms have beautiful wooden flooring, stripped doors and pine furniture to create a cosy nostalgic atmosphere. Snuggle down into a cosy bed with organic white cotton sheets and a warm down duvet – all the ingredients you need for a special nights sleep. |
